About Me

Hi there! Thanks for coming.  I think about life and human behavior an awful lot and let you know about it here…

I have a B.S. in Music Therapy from Slippery Rock University. I do a little of that and have combined that knowledge with the healing work I do.  But, I was also guided to bring that work in to the written word.  I’ve published my first juvenile book that will launch a series of books, initially written for the 9-14 age range, but I’ve found it has been received very well by adults. I guess we can all relate to loss, and some of us are drawn to the intuitive and psychic parts of life. You can find more about Macie’s Guide to the Odd, Strange, Bizarre, Unique, Unexplained and Twisted: The Power Awakened and the healing work I do here.

I do a lot of writing.  Eventually you realize that not everyone wants to hear what you are speaking all the time.  But, they might stop and read what you have to say some of the time. And, every so often words might inspire action or change and that is always the hope with the posts that go up on this blog.

Writing, reading , raising children, failing in some relationships, flourishing in others, volunteering, and being a part of my social communities, both IRL and online, led me to this blog. I see the good in people.  I believe that the human spirit wants to be positive.

I do not post every day. I do post at least once a week; sometimes more often. If I don’t have something worthwhile to say, I’m not going to waste your time. Feel free to link me up to a feel good or positive story if you have one and want me to add my perspective.  Celebrate the good in us!  Subscribers are more appreciated than I can convey in words.

If you are a part of a non-profit and would like me to share your cause here, please email me ” atmcb1219@gmail.com ”

I live near, work, and play in Pittsburgh PA.
